Dragonball SU : Reboot!

The Saiyans: born and bred to be the greatest warriors in the universe, they are widely respected and feared throughout the galaxy as a force to be reckoned with. A warlord named Frieza, in fear of what this race could become, enslaved the Saiyans and added them to his growing empire. King Vegeta of the Saiyan's homeworld, led a force of his most elite warriors in rebellion against Frieza, however, they were vastly outmatched by the superior warrior. With their most powerful warriors destroyed, the planet succumbed to Frieza's empire and all rebellion was subdued. The king's son, Prince Vegeta, as well as his cohort were already loyal to Frieza, and in order to stem any rebellion from one of his most prized warriors, Frieza told the young Vegeta the planet had been destroyed by meteors. However, this was not the case.

Frieza, in his lust for power, searched for the Dragonballs, a quest that brought him face to face with his worst fear: a Super Saiyan. Goku, a Saiyan raised on Earth, defeated Frieza and unwittingly freed the planet Vegeta from slavery. Vegeta and Goku returned to Earth, mistaken in belief that they were the only two Saiyans left.

Within a year of Frieza's death, the Saiyans caught wind that Frieza had been defeated and rebelled against Frieza's men. Under the moonlight, they used their transformation powers to free themselves and once they had regained control, turned on each other. For generations the Saiyan underclasses had endured suffering, either at the hands of the Saiyan elites who persecuted them, or at the hands of Frieza. A civil war broke out between those who believed themselves to be elite and thus should be the ruling classes, and those who believed that all Saiyans should be equal. This bloody war consumed the planet with many victims. Many Saiyans fled the planet. The war eventually lost all meaning and the planet became a war-zone.

After 10 years of non-stop fighting, a victor claimed the throne that so many had shed their blood over. He established himself as undisputed ruler of the planet, overriding Vegeta's claim on the throne as Vegeta had betrayed them to join Frieza. A small band of people still loyal to the king were exiled and were sentenced to be shot into a distant sun; however, they managed to rewire the ship en route, and flew to Earth in order to find their king.

Earth itself had seen its fair share of war by the time the Saiyans had arrived; an invasion of androids had taken thousands of lives, and the awakening of Majin Buu eventually led to the death of nearly everyone on the planet. When the Saiyan people arrived, they found that their saviour king, Vegeta, had grown old and somewhat subdued; although he was happy to hear the planet was still intact, he had made a home and family on Earth and no longer cared for the petty squabbles of his forgotten people. The Saiyan refugees soon saw that life on Earth was better, and the children of these Saiyans had proved that this could be their new home, and thus settled there.

Many decades past without much incident; an occasional threat, but never one to even match the Cell fiasco. The original Z-Fighters died and their generations carried on their fighting spirit: the annual Tenkachi Budokai was often dominated by the children of the older generations.

Now a new threat has appeared on Earth. A dangerous alien force led by a bloodthirsty warrior called Rothax has come with one objective in mind: to collect Earth’s Dragonballs, no matter the cost. A small band of Earth’s most powerful fighters, loosely allied for now by a collective need to defeat Rothax and his band, they must overcome their differences in order to fend off the invasion.

Currently, skirmishes between the two sides has already resulted in fatalities and near-death incidents, but all the Dragonballs have now been collected by someone. It is only a matter of time until all 7 are united, by whom is the ultimate question.

Okay, so the basic gist is this: we’re picking up where we left off, but with some guidelines:

- If you had a player-character in the first RPG and want to continue with him/her, please resign up, either with your original one or a brand new one to reflect the development that has occurred since now and then. You may want to include how they feel about existing PCs/NPCs when you sign up (and, of course, when they sign up).

- If you did not have a player-character before, or if you did but you want to create a new one (either in addition to or to replace your old one), please feel free to join up.

- Please, good characters only as PCs. The only PC bad guys are Rothax and Shimuto.

- Furthermore, if you introduced any NPCs and would like them to remain in the story, please state them in your post. You don't have to post an additional sign-up form, although perhaps a shortened version of one would be great.

- When the RPG begins (when I feel we have enough people, perhaps at least 4 other members) I will post what is going on where, and will leave it up to you to insert your characters into the story. Feel free to either pick up exactly where you left off, or to put your character elsewhere. For new characters, you can either act as if you have been with the group for the entire time, or you can add yourself as a newcomer who has just arrived.

Name: Rothax
Race: Mizimian
Age: 39
Gender: Asexual; is referred to as a 'he.'
Appearance: This is his first form. His second (and as of the RPG's decline/revival, his current form) form is depicted here.
Personality: Rothax is a power-hungry despot, prone to throwing tantrums if he doesn't have his way. He can be cool and collected, but typically for short bursts only. When angered, he often becomes childishly hotheaded like Frieza, but rather than remain uncontrollable, he will eventually become silent and frigid cold if his anger continues. At this point, stay away. In fact, just stay away period. He only seems to be happy when he has exactly what he wants and when he wants it, at which point he becomes almost friendly.
History: The Mizimian race descends from a common ancestor that they share with the Namekians, which is why both races are so similar in appearnce. Though not enemies, the Namekians rarely speak of their brethren race simply because they tend to keep to themselves. They inhabit a planet called Mizim, which is only a few days from the original Namek (farther from New Namek), and while the Namekians are a more sage race, the Mizimians are a technological species. What they lack in Namekian strength and wisdom, they make up for in technological achievment and outright intelligence.
Rothax's history is not very remarkable. He was raised as a scholar, capable of fighting well but spending more time tinkering with his 'toys' than the typical Mizimian brawler. Like his fellow Mizimians, he knew of the Namekians and their Dragon Balls, the latter of which Rothax became interested in. He tried to find them, his impulsiveness getting in the way of him learning much more about the Dragon Balls than how they granted wishes.
A few years later, he returned to Mizim, infuriated that he didn't get what he wished for from the dragon he summoned, which was Porunga (Hilariously, when Porunga denied his wish since he didn't speak Namekian, Rothax wished/yelled for Porunga "Shut up and go away!". This wish, Porunga DID grant.). So, he began to search his planet's libraries and archives for any record on how to get what he wanted... And he eventually uncovered a manuscript written by the creator of the Dragon Balls himself. The manuscript stated that the Dragon Balls acted as inhibitors that kept their Dragon's limitless power from being misused. And so, he began work on a machine that would separate the Dragon from the Dragon Balls. As he constructed it, his people began to shun him for his selfish intentions and his attitude, though he did manage to coerce (scare and/or bribe) a small army to follow him. His machine is complete now, and his troops are ready to begin the old hunt once again...
NEW: Now on Earth, Rothax's squadrons of soldiers have been decimated, forcing him to transform once as well as to call in his most senior special forces group, who will be listed below. As of now, Rothax has ten men left at his behest. His machine is fully operational, and his top 3 soldiers are with him on his ship, ready to engage the enemy and assist the struggling Kwali brothers. He possesses 2 of the 7 Dragonballs and has laid waste to West City.
Techniques:
-Chitin Barrier: Rothax's armor shines a sickly blue and he holds his hand out, stopping any attack that hits it (If his armor is crippled, this move becomes much less effective; now that he's transformed, his armor is straining and this move may just push it past its limits.)
-Claw Crusher: Rothax uses the claws on his wrists and ankles to mercilessly crush or cut up whatever he can get them around.
-Needle Cannon: Similar to Vegeta's barrage attack, Rothax fires a veritable hailstorm of glowing blue needles from his hands, which typically lasts anywhere from one wave to ten seconds. before needing to recharge.
-Ozone Burst Ray: Rothax's most powerful basic attack. He holds his hands straight out sideways, the bases of the palms pressed together, all five fingers lined next to one another, before firing a thick blue beam of negative energy at the target.
-Supersonic Yell: Rothax utters a vocal shockwave that can inflict agonizing pain and even deafness on enemies.
-Rothax Third Form: Rothax assumes his second form. More information is unavailable at this time.
Relationships: Shimuto, his second-in-command, is probably the closest thing he has to a 'friend.' His special forces' leader, Chita, he treats with more respect than the rest of his soldiers, though it is currently unknown why.
Themes:

Other: Despite his temper and intentions, Rothax doesn't consider himself evil. He just wants what he feels he's entitled to.

Name: Basawe
Race: Saiyan
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance: This is my newest imagining of him. He also typically wears a Scouter with an orange lens over his right eye. He has just recently shed his standard armor in favor of a more modern suit provided by Shitagi's family.
Personality: Basawe is much calmer than most Saiyans because he has spent most of his life repressed. He almost never received assignments on his home planet, and any attempts by him to fight were typically met with him being subdued by his almost-always stronger opponent or laughed off outright. Because of this, he views other Saiyans with mixed feelings, ranging from jealousy and disgust to admiration. He treats non-Saiyan races as they treat him. Really a neutral guy, all things considered. Unless he's fighting. Then he puts his all into his actions, brawling with everything he has.
History: Basawe was born with a very rare Saiyan birth defect. So rare, in fact, that his is the only documented case for a full-blooded Saiyan on or off Planet Vegeta in recent history. This defect has two effects: The first is that it makes him lose energy at random, if not totally inopportune times. The second problem - the more obvious of the two - is that Basawe was born without a tail. As a result, he cannot become an Oozaru, and he was more or less a laughingstock on Planet Vegeta throughout his life. All his classmates and sparring partners picked on him, his parents were ashamed of him, and he was bullied and beaten on more occasions than he can count.
Then, one fateful day, his life changed forever. Kerratins, an illegal equivalent of 'Saiyan steroids,' were offered to him by a shady individual who to this day remains unknown and uncaptured. Capable of multiplying a Saiyan's power level by 20 for about twelve hours, these pills would allow Basawe to get revenge on one of his most hated rivals. Basawe bought the two pills in an instant, used them, and engaged his rival in combat. Basawe quickly beat his opponent senseless, but his disorder sapped his energy just before he could incapacitate his enemy, who snapped back and, in a blind rage, beat Basawe nearly to death.
Had he been so brutally beaten during Frieza's reign, Basawe would likely have been left for dead or simply thrown into a recovery chamber. However, his sudden surge in power intrigued Saiyan scientists, and so they, for lack of a better word, pieced back together: He'd been beaten up so badly that he required a blood transfusion from another Saiyan before even the rejuvenation chamber could heal him.
After that, Basawe resumed his normal, miserable life, albeit his Zekai DID make him a bit more powerful. As if anybody would notice... until the next Full Moon, that is. Some of Basawe's antagonists enjoyed terrorizing him as Oozaru's, much like children would stomp around and near a bug. But as Basawe was bathed in the moonlight, he suddenly felt a painful surge of energy rip through him. His hair became a wild, tangled mass, turning an icy silver-white color, his aura surging like never before. He expelled the extra energy in a series of powerful blast waves that knocked his assailants out cold or scared them off.
Since then, Basawe has come to realize that his Saiyan blood - a mix of diseased blood unaffected by moonlight (and the Blutz Waves within it) and healthy foreign blood capable of becoming empowered by Oozaru energy - is responsible for his bizarre transformation that night. He does not know how strong his transformation makes him, but based off what he knows of the Oozaru, he estimates it increases his power tenfold, then lingers since he has never transformed and thus cannot transform 'back.' As a result, he has started to train himself to 'hold onto' any excess energy he can before his system expels it. And it is working - he grows stronger with each Full Moon.
Recently, Basawe was approached again. Despite his newfound power, which he has dubbed the "Extra Saiyan" transformation, he was still ostracized by his peers for being different. And finally, that ostracizing nearly claimed his life: The same Saiyan who nearly killed Basawe before returned with several of his peers; they ganged up on Basawe and forced him into a pod, which they ejected into space in the hopes that Basawe would starve or freeze to death.
NEW: As luck would have it, Basawe's pod landed on Earth, the new model getting him there in mere weeks as opposed to a year. Weak from hunger and a bad case of jet lag, Basawe stumbled out of his pod and found his way to West City, where his hunger and curiosity were sated at the Tenkaichi taking place that same day. That is, until Retasu and later ROthax showed up... In the past few hours, Basawe has since met several new friends and foes, the former of which he is now training with in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in Kami's Lookout high above the Earth.
Techniques:
-Basawe Beam: Basawe pulls his hands back, then thrusts them forward, firing an orange-white beam of energy. Almost a dead-ringer for a Kamehameha.
-Basawe Blitz: Basawe focuses energy from his whole body into a single, glowing punch.
-Basawe Boost: A self-taught Kaio-Ken, Basawe summons any spare energy dormant in his blood as well as around him, flaring an orange aura around himself and multiplying his strength by anywhere between 2 and 5 for a short time.
-Basawe Bomb: Basawe gathers his energy into a single concentrated sphere of orange-white, then hurls it at a target. Cannot be used consecutively.
-Basawe Blitzkrieg: Basawe's strongest attack thus far. He gathers all his energy in his hands, forming two energy balls, which he then hurls into the sky and detonates, raining down shards of burning orange energy. Cannot be used consecutively; drains a lot of energy.
-Kamehameha: The newest technique in Basawe's arsenal, just moments ago taught to him by Shitagi. It needs no description.
-Extra Saiyan Transformation: Only occurs when Basawe is exposed to sufficient Blutz energy. Multiplies Basawe's power approximately tenfold; gives him long, grey-silver hair, a burlier frame, and translucent red pupils.
Relationships: Shitagi's kindness has led Basawe to strike a shaky friendship/alliance with him; other Earthlings he has shown signs of care for are an old man at the Tenkaichi, Shitagi's mother Victoria, and the human warrior Zaito.
Themes:
NEW: Calm theme.

Extra Saiyan theme.
Other: Basawe's name is a near-anagram of 'wasabi,' which (really) is a vegetable, and thus is in keeping with the Saiyan name theme.

And lastly, a few NPC's. As stated earlier, Rothax has ten left at his command: Shimuto, Kamo, and Kados, who Heald has full reign over, and Blaque and Whyte, who UC has control over if he returns; otherwise, I'll take over for him, if they're still alive.

As for the final 5, there's really only a need to give 3 of them a profile: the others are an unconscious surviving footsoldier and Rothax's mysterious 'pet.'


Name: Tennan
Gender:Male
Appearance:Tennan is a mere 4 feet tall and is very skinny, resembling a human-shaped bug with stubby 4-clawed fingers and a single exoskeletal 'toe' on either foot. He wears green and black armor, as well as a helmet that partially hides one of his glassy eyes. A small pair of veiny wings grows from his shoulders.
Personality:Tennan is timid and cowardly, mostly loyal to Rothax out of fear. He seems to be a comic relief character, but despite the amount of Hell he takes from Rothax on a regular basis, the insectoid navigator seems to view Rothax almost like a family member.
Techniques:
-Eye Blast: Tennan fires a yellow beam from either eye, searing his enemy.
-Optron Ring Cage: Tennan fires a red ring from both eyes; they expand and entrap enemies in a spherical 'cage' of moderate strength.
Unlike his superiors, Tennan uses conventional weapons, including a wrist-mounted plasma cannon that can blow clean holes through steel and concrete with one shot.
Relationships: Is Rothax's third-in-command, after Shimuto.
Themes: Main theme.
Other: His power level is currently ~6700. It is unknown whether it will change.


Name: Rinetst
Gender: Male
Appearance: A hunchbacked little blue-black figure in a labcoat, he has four stubby yet quite agile arms and a long head, with a fanged mouth and a flat nose flanked by three beady eyes hidden behind goggles of some sort. A small mop of balding black hair tops his head.
Personality: Perpetually grumpy, has the gumption to actually talk back to Rothax when it comes to his work: He is a dedicated medic despite his curmudgeonly behavior.
Relationships: Is Rothax's fourth-in-command, after Shimuto and Tennan.
Themes: Main theme.
Other: Is the oldest member of Rothax's crew by at least 2 decades. Ironically, he's also the weakest, with a power level of 172. Mostly a gag character, yet still vital to the crew.


Name: Chita
Gender:Female
Relationships: Recognizes Rothax as her superior, yet somehow manages to get more respect from him than even Shimuto sometimes does. Is the equivalent of General to all Rothax's soldiers outside of his main crew.
Other: Has as much power as Rothax in his first form, as well as an intellect that seemingly borders on omniscience.

Thanks for finally getting this up bro. Got my profile with the needed updates. Hopefully the others post soon as well.

Name: Shitagi Summers (Shi for short)
Race: Saiyan/Human Hybrid
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Resembles two of his ancestors. In his facial features he resembles Trunks. As for his hair it's very dark blue in color (almost black) and resembles Future Gohan in style. Shitagi stands at about 5'9" and usually wears black jeans, a white t-shirt and an orange and black jacket. If he's in a Budokai or training he'll wear a blue gi with orange undershirt (think Vegeto). Currently at this point in the story his clothing has seen better days: his pants have a few minor rips in them and he's lost the top to his gi. The undershirt is still in halfway decent condition but that too has taken some damage.
Personality: Shi is an intresting mix as far as his personality goes. While he's got the general love for fighting that's common for Saiyans he's also got a love of science that comes from being a member of the Briefs bloodline. He tends to be calm and caring most of the time and believes everyone should be treated equal regardless of race. Likes to test his skills in battle in much the same way Goku did but unlike his great grandfather he knows when to abandon that happy go lucky mode and be serious about something. Originally was fearful when death became a very real possibility in battle but overcame it quickly as he knew holding back could result in innocent people dying. Finally while usually calm he does have a breaking point and can show a temper/smart mouth if he feels someone is being mistreated. While Shi usually won't start a fight he's got no problems with finishing one. This can be a problem if he gets too angry without knowing he's in over his head.
History: A decendant of Bra and Goten. The Briefs name was lost when Bra married into the Son family and the Son name was lost when his mother married a Capsule Corp scientist. As a young boy Shi had things a bit hard. His father was a CC scientist who had died in a freak accident while testing a new spaceship. As a result Shi grew up with a fear for spaceships and planes and will choose to fly using his ki as opposed to using a transport. In school he was either picked on because other children found his tail strange or thought he was nothing more than a spoiled brat. It didn't get better in middle school when the teasing turned into bullying since some of the more brawny kids thought they'd make a name for themself by beating up the great grandson of the legendary Son Goku. Needless to say that never happened. Eventually the bullies learned to leave him be in high school as he gained a reputation for protecting those he felt needed to be guarded. While Shi eventually made some friends in high school he mainly prefers to be around those that are decended from the other Z Fighters or other martial artists that he has respect for. Shi had recently entered the Budokai for the first time when he was 15 but lost to Gavin. Topping him is now his primary motivation in his training. Finally when he comes face to face with Saiyans that hold onto the old ways they try to treat him with the respect that was reserved for royalty but Shi simply reminds them without being rude that times have changed. Currently training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Techniques: Mainly a student of the Kamesenin style. Shi has also incorperated moves he's learned from his mother who in turn learned them from some of the original Z Fighters. He's also demonstrated an ability to grasp various skills quickly. While his mastery of these skills may not be there it would be unwise to ignore this fact.

• Kaio-Ken (normally uses x2, has used x3 in last ditch efforts; trying to adapt this into a lower powered actual transformation instead of a short term boost)

• Boost (trying to adapt this skill for other uses; see below)
  -Boosted Kaio-Ken (Boost assisted version of Kaio-Ken, can hit levels equal to his strongest KK without the ill effects for a few seconds provided he can gather the energy for it; could possibly bypass his KK limit like this at great risk to himself)
  -Spirit Bomb (untested; in theroy Shitagi might be able to use the energy gathered from a Boost for a SB as both skills use the same general idea of gathering energy from the surrounding area)

Off the battlefield Shi has a very good mind for technology and can repair a great many things. Just don't ask him to pilot or ride in anything that flies.
Relationships: His mother Victoria is his main living family. Gavin is a distant cousin by way of Vegeta. Has quickly become friends with Zaito and Basawe and would trust either of them with his life. Isn't prepared to fully trust Retasu yet as he's deducted that her interest in protecting Earth is related to the Dragon Balls.

Name: Psycho Soldier Gamma (also known as just Gamma)
Race: Psycho Android
Age: looks twenty five has been active for five years. His creation took some time though.
Gender: Male
Appearance: He stands at about 5’9’’ with a slender build. His face is slender, flawless, with a bit of sharpness to it. He has long, full pink hair which reaches down to his shoulders and frames his face, and his eyes are an almost eerie gold colour. His body is covered from his neck to his feet in form fitting black leather, with a number of pale, slightly glowing pink lines moving across his arms, legs and torso. A number of belts and straps are also wrapped around his arms, legs and torso, but do not seem to impede his movement.
Personality: Gamma appears completely void of emotion, and that’s how his creators prefer it. Emotions interfere with his psychic abilities, they lead to insanity, so his cool, almost sterile behaviour is welcomed. He is cool, calculating, and quite intelligent as well, an aspect of himself which he is almost proud of. He always tries to find the most effective way to defeat someone, instead of simply crushing them with brute force…unless of course it is the most effective method.
History: After the destruction of Buu, the Earth military had finally had enough. First Cell and now Buu, they had been thrown aside while those like Goku and Hercule step in to save them. They were meant to be the defenders of humanity, and it was about time they acted like it! They began production on a living weapon, a being who could defend humanity from any new menace. However, as they were unable to harness ki like the Z warriors could use, they turned to another part of the body, the mind. Using technology salvaged from the late Dr. Gero and their own, they initiated what would become known as the Psycho Android program.

The first was Alpha, a completely mechanical android. While he displayed some psychic and telekinetic abilities, they were superficial at best. They learnt that a wholly mechanical mind can’t match a living one in terms of mental power.

The second was Beta, this time combining a human volunteer with machinery. A cyborg technically. She seemed successful at first, however, as time moved on, she became erratic and eventually succumbed to insanity. Her emotions were going out of control, which eventually lead to her own destruction.

They were reluctant to try, but it seemed like third time’s the charm. Gamma was successful in developing powerful telekinetic abilities, and lacked any emotion which they believed could lead to insanity. Initial testing has looked favourably upon this latest model, but tests against a ‘real opponent’ have yet to occur.
Techniques:
Fighting Style – Gamma seems to use a style of his own creation, with an almost dance-like feel to it. Some researchers have dubbed this the psycho-dance style.
-Auto Repair: combining his machinery with his mind, Gamma can recover from many injuries. The severity of the injury however determines how much concentration is required. A simply cut or something can heal in a matter of seconds, but something like a missing arm can much more difficult. Some injuries he may not be able to repair at all.
-Psycho Counter – using the power of his mind, Gamma can essentially ‘catch’ an energy attack and use the energy for his own purposes. While he can catch simple energy blasts with ease, high numbers of them, and stronger energy attacks are harder to counter, and sometimes can’t be countered at all.
-Matter Ball – Using his mind, Gamma can pull matter from around him and convert it into a massive ball to throw at the enemy. The ball explodes on impact, sending rubble and such everywhere. He cannot grab matter from sentient beings.
-Teleslam – Gamma can use telekenisis to push his enemy back with great force. To them, it feels like they’ve been hit with a powerful punch or something.

Appearance: Van Osiku stands about 5'2", with a quiet grin he maintains at all times. He has tan skin, brown hair in a ponytail, and brown eyes. Nobody has ever seen him wear anything other than loose white clothes and sandals. He used to carried a guitar on his back and a jug of cheap wine on his hip.

Personality: Some would describe Van Osiku as only perceiving 25% of reality. Talking to him is a decidedly hit-or-miss prospect - he may or may not notice that you're there. He never reacts to insults or innuendo, and his expression never seems to change. It's possible that he may just be drunk, and he certainly seems to walk unsteady. When he does talk, he has a quiet voice and gives only noncommital answers to questions.

...or so he used to be. Finding a Dragon Ball has shaken him deeply, forcing him to be serious.

History: Here is the story Van Osiku tells. He was born thirty-three years ago on a farm in a major city, but was thrown out at a young age following several years of bad crops. In order to survive, he fled to a major city and lived as a street thief, learning the basics of combat in fighting off bullies. Eventually, an alien who had come to Earth for reasons unknown took him in, and he learned how to channel his ki and how to really fight from this unexpected teacher.

This story is full of holes, and does not explain several mysterious facts. There are numerous photographs dating fifty years or further back that clearly show a figure indentical to Van Osiku participating in combat. A video taken during the Tenkaichi Budokai twenty years ago shows Van Osiku as he appears now. Numerous stories describe someone similar to Van Osiku using techniques that match his; the oldest of these stories dates to seventy-six years ago.

Most interestingly, someone who was at that Tenkaichi Budokai claims that Van Osiku said he was thirty-three then, too.

Numerous interested parties (ranging from government agencies to religious cults) on various planets claim different "truths" for Van Osiku. Theories range from him being an aspect of a god to being an alien suffering several mental disorders to him being a ghost that possesses people and alters their appearances. No firm answer has ever emerged.

Van Osiku just smiles, takes a drink and plays a song to himself.

Techniques: Van used to pay a few notes on his guitar, swig his wine, and set both aside before he fought, but since finding the Dragon Balls he's abandoned both. His stance appears to be based in Snake-style Kung Fu and Drunken Boxing. His techniques, on the other hand...

- Drill Shot: Van sways his arms around, and then throws a blast of ki that spirals around his arm before launching. A simple ki-blast technique.
- Shock Wall: Van spins on the ground, drawing a circle with his hands. A moment later, energy bursts out from him in a circle. The energy goes out for about ten feet.
- Pulse: If Van touches his opponent, he can hit them with what amounts to a Kamehameha at point-blank (though not quite so powerful). This requires skin contact.
- Cacophony: By clenching his fists and concentrating, Van can unleash a loud, powerful burst of sound, hitting on some frequencies that humans can't even hear.
- Berserk Dance: Swaying for a moment, Van throws himself at his target, lashing out with fists and feet. This is essentially a simple combo that he uses enough to name, and ends with Pulse.
- Trance: Perhaps the clearest sign that something is off about Van Osiku. His eyes glow white, and his hair develops a set of black streaks. Accessing this mode requires Van to have suffered serious injury, and lasts for five minutes. During this time, any hit he lands hits with a Pulse, and he moves so fast that he leaves contrails. At the end of the five minutes, he collapses into a helpless heap.
NEWLY LEARNED:
- D-Trance: Van has no control over when this activates. If threatened, it may trigger automatically. Van gains six inches of height, his hair gains dark streaks, and he crackles with energy. This form triples his power level, but it cannot be maintained for long - as soon as the threat has ended, it cuts off, usually knocking him out.
- K-Trance: Van has no control over when he may use this power. He does not even know what triggers it, aside from "On contact with Saiyans". Van's hair changes to dark gray, he gains a foot of height and significant muscle tone, and his power level doubles. However, in the process he is overtaken by a personality that hates Saiyans and will attack them on sight.

Relationships: None known, though given his possible histories, anything could happen. He is taken over by hostile powers when around Saiyans, so they may have done something terrible to him in the past.

Other: His "baseline" power level was once 570, but now it hovers around 3,500. He currently possesses the 3-Star, 5-Star, and 7-Star Dragon Balls.

VAN'S STORY SO FAR: Van Osiku entered the Tenkai Budoichi on a whim, eventually battling Gamma. Their fight was interrupted by the arrival of Rothax, and Van initially decided to stay out of it. This resolution was interrupted when he was attacked and taken prisoner by Rothax's men.

While imprisoned, Van swiftly sickened and died... only to reincarnate in the mountains, unharmed. There he found one of the Dragon Balls.

As Van held the Dragon Ball, he began to see visions of another world, and flashes of people and great powers. Confused, Van began to suspect that he was seeing bits of his past, a mystery even to him, and decided to seek out the others to see if he could discover more.

Van found another Dragon Ball in an abandoned military base, and holding it gave him more elaborate visions of the other world, which had apparently died long before. This convinced him that only finding all of them would answer his questions.

The third Dragon Ball Van found was in the ocean, but he arrived to retrieve it at the same time as Rothax's men. They fought, and Van found his powers had greatly increased since finding the Dragon Balls. In the midst of battle, Van suddenly underwent a powerful transformation, increasing his power manyfold and allowing him to slaughter his enemies. Having neutralized them, he claimed a third Dragon Ball.

This time the visions were quite detailed, revealing a man named Vanel Ositra, whom Van began to think might be him. But they also showed a king, and a mysterious third power that he could not identify. More confused than ever, he opted to continue his hunt... and teleported to the side of the new Z-Warriors in the midst of their battle with Rothax's warriors.

Before he could choose which side to help, Van was overwhelmed by a sudden voice, demanding that he kill the Saiyan named Kura. Despite his best efforts to force its silence, it broke free and transformed him before doing its damnedest to kill her...

Appearance: Looks like Nail, but a bit taller
Personality: Extremely quiet and reserved, rarely utters more than a few words at a time. Like his grandfather Nail, he remains as humble as he can. He also inherited Nail's strong sense of justice, which often prompts him to become involved in conflicts that may not directly be his own, sometimes even against unfavorable odds.
History: Hammer's father Mallet, being Nail's son, was just a boy when Frieza attacked Namek. Mallet was wished to Earth along with the other surviving Namekians, and later produced the offspring Hammer. Hammer was raised on the strict ideals that Nail had taught Mallet, including his role as a protector. When he learned of the fate that befell Namek at the hands of Frieza, Hammer became so unundated with rage that he fled to a remote region of the Earth to train in solitude. After years of intense studying and training, Hammer mastered the art of Xing Yi. Once he had completed his training, he sensed the new threat to Earth that ended up being Rothax and Shimuto, and became entangled in that plot ((in the previous incarnation of this RPG)). Currently, Hammer has entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Retasu, Shitagi, and Basawe.
Techniques: Hammer, during his training, mastered several fighting styles. His preferred style is the Xing Yi, an ancient Korean art that is both physically, mentally, and spiritually intensive. It centers upon the artist's control over his/her own Qi, allowing it to power the body and even manifest in its own physical form (beam). Hammer's primary attacks are the Xing Yi Quan (Path of the Will Fist), Di Zhu (Earth Keeper), and regular Qi attacks (beams and such). He has one special attack called Mind of Gaia, an attack that calls upon the five elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Wood, and Metal. A series of blows are dealt to the foe relative to each of the 5 elements. For example: for Water, a huge tidal wave engulfs the enemy. This attack is a final attack, usually obliterating anything in the vicinity and leaving Hammer on the brink of death. He tends not to use weapons, but he can use anything if he has to. Also, as per all Namekians, he regenerates.

Not Kura. Basawe. He went in a second time to train with Shitagi. Kura is at the battlefield near West City with Zaito and I THINK Gamma, fighting against the Kwali brothers (one of whom is crippled ATM) and a rogue Van Osiku.

Everyone else is at their respective bases: the good guys at the Lookout or in the HBTC, and the bad guys on Rothax's ship, with 3 of them soon to depart for the battlefield. Shimuto is I dunno where, Gavin is on the ship as a hostage (again, if he returns), and Shitagi's mom Victoria is on her way to Rothax's ship to engage the head honcho herself.

I hope that accounts for everybody.

Name: Victoria Son Summers (Victoria Briefs in public)
Race: Saiyan/Human
Age: 49
Gender: Female
Appearance: An absolute dead ringer for Bulma with the obvious addition of a Saiyan tail. Victoria stands at 5'8" tall. Her normal clothing choices tend to hide how she really looks and despite having a slender looking appearance, she is actually quite fit. Clothing wise she normally wears a long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans and a blue CC jacket. If she's actually training she'll swap out for the traditional orange/blue gi the Z Fighters wear with a long sleve shirt. Victoria also has Saiyan Armor with light green spandex for times when she expects trouble. Finally as a part Saiyan she doesn't look her age at all and looks more like she's in her late 20's to early 30's.
Personality: Just like her son she's got an absolute love for science and fighting. In her later years however she's leaned more towards science since Capsule Corperation needed someone to run it. Can be extremely friendly but will not take crap from anyone. As a result if you make her angry then she'll be more than willing to trade insults with you ala Vegeta. Refuses to allow her son and the other Z Fighters brush off serious injuries as minor and will do everything she can to keep them from pushing too far when hurt.
History: Daughter of Goten and Bra. While Gohan focused on science and business in his later years, his brother went more the route of Goku. As a result Goten didn't really settle down until he was almost 40. It wasn't until he was in his mid 40's that he slowly backed away from fighting, married and started a family. Due to the union of Goten and Bra, Victoria has been in both worlds for as long as she can remember. On the one hand she got a crash course in many forms of science and business thanks to Bra and Bulma. On the other side of things she wanted to fight and compete at a young age much to the surprise of the Z Fighters. As far as martial arts goes she's been trained at one time or another by her father, her uncle and both of her grandfathers. This gives Victoria a frightening range of skills in battle. However due to the long years of peace as well as eventually needing to run CC her skills and power level have suffered. Without the aid of Kaio Ken she can only max out at about 5000. The most she's ever done as far as fighting goes was become the Tenkaichi Budokai champion for three years running before withdrawing to help run CC. She's currently planning something in regards to dealing with Rothax and has given her son a capsule prior to entering the HTC. She has instructed him to not open it until he's ready to come out. Shitagi has a bad feeling that she's planning on an all out battle with Rothax's remaining forces.....a battle that she won't be returning from......
(NOTE-Anything else you need to know about her history has been covered in Shitagi's profile/history/posts at one point or another. Unlike Shitagi however she's still perfectly willing to fly numerous ships and used the accident with her husband as a chance to develop much safer engine systems. Shitagi still refuses to try them out however.)
Techniques: As noted above the wide range of teachers she has had gives Victoria an extremely wide range of skills. As a result expect her to adapt to nearly any situation.

Ace. Everyone is accepted. I was hoping Kuro and Asilynne would have signed up too, so if you're still there ladies, there's a big hole in this RPG that only you can fill (giggidy).

Anyway, time for some profiles. I'm making a few changes to Zaito, since the character he turned out to be was quite, quite different to the one I originally created (although keeping the core basics, but it'll make him easier for other people to 'play' if you will).

I will be starting the RPG soon, just want to give others a chance to sign-up.

Name: Zaito Zhin (pronounced Shin)
Race: Human
Age: 19
Gender: Male.

Appearance: He is around 6' 2" and muscular, but also athletically built and not bulging with muscles. Only his shoulders are broad really, although when he does get pumped up, he does look noticeably bigger, although not significantly so (i.e. he doesn't become like USSJ uber-muscular). He has slightly tanned white skin, so he's neither pale nor dark-skinned. He had short black hair that's spiked on top, although short spikes.

Currently, he is wearing an orange gi with blue under-shirt, much like the original Z-fighters, although he has not insignia on these clothes. He received this gi from Shitagi.

Personality: A good, kind-hearted, morally strong person, he is never afraid to speak up against injustice and stand up against those who would commit evil. As a result of his intense and focussed training, he is, most of the time, slow to anger or emotion (at least compared to Saiyans) but at heart he is headstrong and subject to strong feelings, leading to impulsive actions, perhaps against his better judgement, when times get heated. He is usually friendly and open-minded, often more than willing to put aside differences for the benefit of the bigger picture, but he isn't afraid to confront those who are acting contrary to what he believes is right.

History: Born and raised in a community where it wasn't uncommon for the young to be raised in fighter's schools and monasteries, he was promising from a very young age, being a very energetic infant. At the age of 3 he had proven himself to be a natural fighter, defeating a boy three times his age in an exhibition match and was quickly sent to study with the Blue Dragon School, a school similar to the Turtle and Crane schools that specialised in utilising the energy and lifeforce of the Earth and the very elements themselves. By six years old he could fly and form basic energy attacks, but he had more natural ability than focus and concentration, meaning he found it difficult to truly harness his true potential, and found himself on the wrong end of his sensei's walking stick numerous times for his lack of judgement and discipline. He followed the Path of Air, being able to utilise wind-based techniques and infusing the planet's natural air energy with his own ki in order to unleash incredible techniques.

At the age of 18, he elected to leave the school with the blessing of his sensei, who felt that leaving the school and experiencing the world, learning from other schools and fighters would match well with his energetic passion. With this in mind, he gave himself a year to travel the world and watch and spar with other fighters and schools before entering the Budokai.

After the Budokai was attacked, he formed an alliance with the rest of the fighters, fighting alongside Basawe and Shitagi in order to defeat the alien invaders and to protect the Earth. He has suffered terrible injuries at the hands of the Kwalis but was brought back to full health by Shitagi and Victoria, and has since had a an hour in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Currently, he is in combat with the Kwali Brothers and Kura, which has now been interrupted by an enraged Van Osiku. His base power level is currently hovering between 7000-8000, although he can increase it further for short periods of time.

Techniques: Kazeken - A passive ability that allows him to absorb wind energy from the atmosphere, especially enhanced whilst flying and in the sky. He can then activate it for short periods of time in order to increase his attack power.

Nenshokaze - He powers up wind energy in his fist and strikes his opponent, sometimes with enough force to impale his opponent. When powered up significantly, a small tornado appears around his fist.

Bikokaze - Briefly infuses his own body with the wind, allowing himself to become intangible or even completely invisible, moving very quickly and materialising somewhere else. Can only be used in very short distances and can be very draining if used more than once in a short space of time.

Ranbokaze - Like a bigger version of the Nenshokaze, he wraps his own body in a tornado-like stream of wind energy, being able to deflect attacks and move very quickly, concentrating all of his energy in the apex of the tornado at the final moment to do incredible damage. Appears much like the Fang Over Fang attack from Naruto.

Kadoutama - Puts his hands together in a gun-shape and powers-up a small but very dense ball of energy and fires it very quickly. Explodes and can stop most things in its tracks.

Ryuukyokaze - Definitely the last-resort, final attack and most powerful one in his arsenal. He powers up as much energy as possible (a possibly very lengthy process) in his arms in front of him (with his left palm over the back of his right hand) and when ready, unleashes a very fast, very destructive beam of swirling energy. Requires a lot of concentration and he will find it difficult to dodge attacks or move whilst preparing it.

Relationships: Has formed friendly relations with Basawe and Shitagi, and is on good terms with Furuto and Kuji. He trusts Hammer and has a seemingly friendly rivalry with Kura, although he is unsure of what her exact motives are (yet he doesn't distrust her). He finds Retasu's rough disposition somewhat troubling, but he is wise enough to understand she is a formidable fighter.

Race: Saiyan (Planet Vegeta)

Gender: Female

She wears Saiyan armor of course only the symbol is new for the new leader of Planet Vegeta. Her saiyan armor is typically green and white with tan trim. She does indeed have a tail and uses it to express her emotions at times.
Personality: She is a very driven individual, will do what needs to be done despite the cost to herself. Has a high sense of honor and duty, and a strong sense of the way things "should be". Is very much against the new bloodline that rules Planet Vegeta, even though she was raised in an Elite family, she believes that the "elitist" way of thinking is an unwanted lingering remnent of the Frieza regime and thinks it should be done away with (more about this in history). Hates anything to do with Frieza of the new Leader of Vegeta, and longs for the "old days" of saiyan heritage thats told about in her family's oral history. Sees the old King Vegeta and his child son (the Vegeta we all know and love) as heroes, and firmly believes that only the great Prince Vegeta could have killed Frieza, thus freeing her people 100 something years ago. Is relatively serious, and believes her mission to Earth is nothing to joke about, so she doesnt have much of a sense of humor. Although what little sense of humor she has is of a rough sort lol
History: Born to Elite parents, she was groomed early on to have a noble sort of upbringing, and she strove to surpass the power levels of her peers. Her family was "in the closet" Vegeta supporters that have laid low and escaped the Purging, but continued to pass down their Anti-Frieza/"King" Ninjin beliefs. (If its ok to name the new King of Vegeta Im naming him King Ninjin, ninjin=carrot lol.) Therefore she was taught early on that just because she was a noble, doesnt mean she can slack off, because a commoner can work hard and have a higher power level than a noble with enough training. Because of this philosophy of her family, she was incredibly driven to excel in her youth and beyond. Her enthusiasm for being the best didnt go unnoticed, for even though she didnt have the highest power level on the planet, she had amoung the highest of the Noble Class, and this encouraged King Ninjin to fix an arranged marriage with her and his son Prince Bureiki. They were to be wed on her quarter century mark, and seeing as how her family and herself hate King Ninjin and all he stands for, they helped her escape into a pod off Planet Vegeta, despite the fact this would be considered treason. To protect her family from King Ninjins wrath after she was gone, she left a transmission for him saying she had gone off to claim a few more planets for the Saiyan Empire as a wedding gift, and would be back within the year. Which of course is a dirty lie. She figures that if she can locate the descendants of Prince Vegeta and bring them back to Planet Vegeta before she is due back, not only will she not have to marry the Kings son, but she firmly believes that all Saiyans will fall behind the true heir to the throne and the Ninjin line will be out for good. Her reasons for doing so arent entirely selfish, but it is the impending wedding that is forcing her family into action after so long laying low. If she is allowed to marry into the Ninjin bloodline, the resistance will end with her, and she cant allow that to happen. Ninjin would make sure any of her children were Ninjin loyalists.

After landing on earth she found she landed in the middle of a martial arts tournament, and also found the saiyans of this planet were nothing like what she expected. They favored the humans a lot more than she cared for, and she also found her friend and former bodyguard, Kura. Hearing that the dragonballs could wish a dead hero back to life, she got ideas to ressurect her dead Prince Vegeta, whom she hero worships, and after a battle that left the Android Gamma out of comission, she offered to help repair him with the secret motivation to gain his ability to track the dragonballs. To keep him from noticing once he was repaired, she uploaded a distraction program into his memory. Before she could head off on her own though, everyone was attacked, and realising she needed the others at least for now if she was to gather the dragonballs she entered the Time Chamber to train and get stronger.

Techniques:
Russian Roulette- Retasu makes 5 copies of herself, which all fight the enemie(s), if a fake Retasu is grappled or shot with energy, it will explode doing damage to the attacker.

Relationships: Open. Kura was Retasu's old bodyguard back on Planet Vegeta.
Other: Her aura is green and white, also she has never seen a true super saiyan, and believes that only those related to King Vegeta can become one (historic events have been fragmented over time).

Appearance: Stands tall at 5' 6", with an average looking build and muscular structure. He has long blond pointy hair that stick up and emerald green eyes, that make him look like a dead-ringer for a Super Saiyan even though he's human. Often seen wearing a midnight black training gi with an equally black belt tied to it. Imprinted on his back, is a circle with the Japanese kanji for "crane" imprinted on it.

Personality: Drake's very calm and quiet, yet quite menacing whenever he speaks like this as if just speaking to him sends an ordinary man running for his life. He always takes everything seriously, even if somebody is telling a joke or making fun of the current situation. Drake is also quite cunning, managing to think at least three steps ahead of his opponents and is often using his wits and his presence to defeat his foes, rather than just brute force.

History: After his encounter and revival after the events involving Majin Buu, Tien Shinhan had finally decided that he and his compatriot Chiaotzu had to pass down the techniques of the Crane School of martial arts to worthy students hoping that one day their students would become much stronger than their teacher so they can face off and defeat future menaces as they had failed to do so in the past.

Similar to Masters Mutaito, Roshi, and their Master Shen, both had decided to to pass on their knowledge of martial arts, in addition to the ones they had picked up from their fellow Z Fighters, to two gifted individuals at one time. After training one set of two immediately after the Buu incident, he lived in solitary with Chiaotzu as his only companion visiting up with the other Z Fighter every once in a while.

In his advanced age, he encountered Drake Camper at only 7 years old trying to steal his groceries at a local market. Tien found out from the young boy that he was an abandoned orphan and saw he had great fighting potential since he managed to avoid his capture of him with great skill. Tien decided to raise Drake as if he were his own son thus making him his 1st student of his 2nd set of two students to be taught the techniques of the Crane School. (Note: If you want to make the other students of Tien and Chiaotzu, feel free to do so, but please mention Drake if you're referring to the second set of students they trained.) After 15 years of training with Tien, Drake set off to wander the world to train by himself as his master did before him. Now during his wandering, he became a silent vigilante protecting whatever city or village he came across in his travels from injustice.

Techniques: He mainly uses the style of Crane School, but also uses various other techniques he's heard from and taught by Tien that he eventually learned over time after watching the other Z Fighters. In turn, Drake learned how to combine various techniques together and often uses them in battle to throw off his opponents and give him an edge.

* Concentrated Missile - A combination of the Dodon Ray and Special Beam Cannon. It has the rapid fire use and piercing power of the Dodon Ray and the speed and drilling effect of the Special Beam Cannon. Fires a powerful ki blast from the index fingers like both techniques.

* Illusion Disk - A combination of the Multi-Form, Solar Flare, and Kienzan. Instead of doing the Multi-Form first, performing the Kienzan and then doing the Solar Flare, which some people think when combining the three techniques together, Drake forms a basic Kienzan and throws it but then concentrates his energy so that it not only splits apart into multiple Kienzans, but each one of them can blind the opponent if they get near enough to see the circle. However, like the Multi-Form, each disk is less powerful and has less of a blinding effect the more disks are made.

* Triple Trouble Technique - A combination of the Tri-Beam and Kamehameha. Like the Kamehameha, it needs charging. Unlike the Kamehameha, it does not charge through the hands, rather through the fingers. Drake first forms his pinkies and ring fingers into a triangle. He the then proceeds to rapidly make the same shape but with different fingers. The order is pinky + ring, ring + middle, middle + index, index + thumb upside down, index + thumb in regular Tri-Beam formation. The result is much more a powerful and effective Tri-Beam blast but drains more than three times the life energy of the user. Only used in desperation and preferably at full power.

Relationships: Drake has met all the original Z Fighters, their heirs, and their proteges at least once when Tien brought him over to meet them during his occasional reunions with them. However, he met all of them when he was 10 so if he were to see the proteges again, he probably wouldn't recognize them immediately.

Other: Like Zaito, he's human and thus doesn't have development, physique, and the extraordinary abilities aliens, androids, or alien hybrids have. However, his cunning and ability to combine moves he's learned makes him a force to be reckoned with.

According to your bio, Tien would be 125 when they met. And I won't even go into your Relationships bio stating that Drake has 'met all the original Z fighters.'

One of the original ideas behind this RPG was that the original Z fighters would be long-gone and thus it'd be up to our OC's to defend the Earth. Not only does your sign-up clash with that, but also it indicates that at least one of the original Z fighters is still alive, and said Z fighter likely has a power level of, at the very least, several hundred thousand. Even the strongest of our final villain's forms is not that high.

I assumed that like Roshi and Shen, Tien found some way to slow down the aging process or become semi-immortal, but cannot use his abilities to the fullest because he's gotten old... and possibly perverted like those two. As for the relationships, I'll adjust them so that Drake is much older than I originally had planned or change the story a bit to fit this RPG's story idea. That cool?

Well in the end it'll be Blade and Heald's call. However if I may play Devil's Advocate on the matter for a moment I don't think this would be too bad provided it had adjustments. While the subject of Master Roshi has not come up bear in mind that he was 344 years old in 774 (the year in the DB universe that Buu was revived). Anyway 100 years after Z puts the year in this RPG as 874 and the year of birth for DA's character as 851. As Blade notes this WOULD make Tien to be 125 years old. However humans over 100 seem to be rare and while GT is the bastard series of Dragon Ball it did clearly show Tien to be the youngest looking of the human Z Fighters despite being one of the oldest (Tien/Yamcha are 57 at the end of GT while Krillin is about 54). In fact in every post Cell appearence he makes he ALWAYS looks the same while Krillin and Yamcha are clearly showing their age. The common speculation in regards to this is that it's due to him being the only one to keep up with his training. This is kinda true for real life as well. Take a look at this pic of Chuck Norris and Mike Huckabee. Maybe it's just me, perhaps it could even be the fact that Chuck most likely dyes his hair. However to my eyes it looks like Huckabee is the older man despite being 15 years younger (born 1955, Chuck in 1940).

Anyway due to his reclusive nature I'd say it's POSSIBLE that Tien may have been the last living Z Fighter without anyone knowing about it. However bear in mind that as I said before humans older than 100 or even 200 in the Dragon Ball world are extremely rare (the only ones we see older than 200 are all from Master Roshi's time). It's possible Tien may have lived long enough to train DA's character. However I'd personally say that him living past 140 would be starting to push it. After all humans are suppose to have shorter life spans than Namekians and Saiyans. Namekians over 500 aren't unheard of and while no actual age limit has ever been confirmed for Saiyans since they tend to die in battle it's usually speculated that they can easily be able to hit 100. Also if humans over 100 are so common then why isn't nearly everyone alive? While I forget the reason that was given for Piccolo's absence if Tien was alive then all of the Saiyan Z Fighters should be as well if this was common.....something already established as not being the case within this paticular story. Hell my own dates in regards to Victoria just barely avoid ripping plot holes into things

Anyway Tien living to 140 means he'd have been able to train DA's character until he was 22.....one year before the events of this RPG. As I said it could potentially work with minimal plot holes but it's not my call. It falls to Blade/Heald to either allow or veto it.

At worse case if they deem it as way too old for Tien your current master could have easily been Tien's student ^_~

To be honest, it's not an incredibly important plot point. It shouldn't impact this RPG particularly (I doubt Rothax and co will be bothered if your character was trained by a 100-year old Z-Fighter) although by the start of the RPG, every original character has passed on, including those who were only 4 or 5 (such as Trunks/Goten) at the end of the Buu saga. That is just one thing I want to make clear.

Like I said, Tien has been living in solitude and given his attitude after the Cell Games and his encounter with Buu, he only fights foes stronger than he is when it seems there's a lack of people left to fight those foes. Still, I'll change the story around a bit so that Drake's older than I originally planned or change his relationships entirely.

This. I'm not trying to shit all over the newcomer, but the simple fact is that you're trying to dispute something that was basically set in stone since long before you showed up. Your sign-up can be changed with ease. If we accept your sign-up as fact, that means Tien is out there, still alive, with a power level probably in the millions. Thus, either our fierce army of villains becomes laughable, or I have to overhaul them in a way that'll make our wimpy newcomer Z fighters absolutely nothing in the face of them.

Appearance: About 5'6 with a curvy but well-toned figure, she is obviously no push-over, but doesn't show off her strength. She has tanned skin tone with dark green eyes, and shoulder-length medium brown hair that normally hangs loose, but is tied back when she's fighting. Generally wears black pants of material similar to the Saiyan battle suits, a fitted green tanktop, black studded belt and combat boots. Also wears black arm bracers, and has a tattoo of the letter 'K' on her right shoulder blade. She also has a set of Saiyan battle armor, but prefers not to wear it.
Personality: Due to the events of her past, Kiyabet/Kura has a rather icy personality. With a fierce gaze and serious demeanor that rarely softens, many view her as cold and stand-offish. However, if one ventured into a lengthy conversation with her they would discover her tendency for dry, almost sarcastic humor. Kura is the epitome of self-serving behavior, only acting in her own interest. Even though she is a strong fighter in her own right, she avoids battles unless there is some benefit in it for her. This is because she distrusts both sides of the conflict, Planet Vegeta Saiyans and Earth Saiyans alike, and refuses to take responsibility for anyone but herself.
History: Kiyabet is descended from the brother of the original King Vegeta. When the fighting on Planet Vegeta began, her ancestors were able to hide their true lineage and avoided the (attempted) execution of the Vegeta Loyalists. Over time, her family established themselves as bodyguards to the elites and Kiyabet herself became a servant of the house of King Ninjin. While she was not a supporter of the new king by any means, she chose to remain quiet about her bloodline, in hopes that one day the true successor would return. She even became somewhat friendly with Retasu, the unwilling fiance of the King's son.
One night, she was suddenly reunited with her childhood friend, Kabu, when he was arrested and thrown in prison for conspiring to overthrow King Ninjin with a budding resistance movement. Kiyabet was set to guard him, and she ended up rekindling a former affection for him. When she learned that he was to be put to death, Kiyabet decided to help him escape and assist him in his plot to assassinate Ninjin, Their plan was soon discovered, however, and after a brief battle, they managed to get to a small ship and flee Planet Vegeta. They escaped together to Earth and joined up with a band of Saiyans already residing there. Soon after, Kiyabet and Kabu got married and adopted Earth names and Kiyabet became Kura Satou.
Even though they lived happily together for a while, things took a bad turn when one of the other exiled Saiyans, a man named Spinak, became enamored with Kura, and plotted to get Kabu out of the picture by spreading a rumor that he was a spy for King Ninjin. Spinak managed to gather a small group and ambushed Kabu while Kura was gone. A female Saiyan named Peal, who didn't like Spinak, told Kura what was going on and she rushed back, only to arrive moments too late. Finding her husband dead in cold blood, Kura flew into a blind rage and chased after his killers. She managed to find and kill some of them, but the ring leader Spinak was nowhere to be found. Feeling guilty at not being able to save Kabu, this experience altered Kura forever, and from that point on she vowed to never get close to anyone again, and withdrew into a solitary shell. Since she has reasons to despise both the Saiyans from Vegeta as well as the Saiyans from Earth, she never fights for one side or the other, only entering into fights that have benefit for her, while constantly keeping her eyes and ears open for information about the whereabouts of the one responsible for Kabu's death. 4 years later, she decided to enter the famed Tenkaichi Budokai, for the prize money as well as rumors that Spinak may also be present there....

Kura's story thus far: After joining in the fight with the aliens that attacked the Tenkaichi Budokai, Kura was reunited with her old friend Retasu. After learning of the mystical Dragonballs from the Namek Furuto, and of their ability to grant wishes (even bringing people back from the dead), Kura decided to join Retasu and the others in the search to find the Dragonballs before the invading alien forces. After they had found a few, they were attacked by the powerful Rothax. Just when it looked like they were done for, Kura and the others were transported to the Lookout by Furuto, where she entered into the Hyperbolic time chamber with Basawe, Sandor and Zaito Zhin. After emerging from the chamber with a month's worth of training, Kura engaged in battle with the Kwali brothers along side Zaito and Sandor. Everything seemed to be in her favor until the battle was interrupted by an entranced Van Osiku, who began to attack Kura in a blind rage. She realized she only had one option: Finish the fight quickly, and without expending all of her energy...

Techniques: Kura uses a combination of Saiya-jin fighting style and Earthen battle styles like Jiu-Jitsu and Hapkido. She also has a couple of special attacks.
-Aishou-ken - a standard Ki-based attack.
-Kuro Kakumei - Born from her anger and grief at her husband's murder, Kura developed the emotion-based attack, Kuro Kakumei. The attack draws on the negative energy of the opponent, such as anger, aggression or sadness, and channels it through the user into a blast of dark energy. Presumably, the angrier or more anguished Kura can make her opponent, the stronger the attack will be.
-Onryou no Genkotsu - translates to "Fist of the Vengeful Spirit." All of the user's energy is focused into a single point of the body, normally the fist or leg, and is used to make a powered-up attack. While this gives a temporary boost to offensive power at that point, it cuts defenses in other areas of the body and leaves the user vulnerable if they should happen to miss.
Relationships: Distantly related to Vegeta, and therefore, presumably, a cousin to Shitagi Summers (Master Rudy's character). She is also familiar with Retasu (Asilynne's character) from her time on Planet Vegeta.
