It's time to move on. Things are about to get heavy...
Basawe
"How would staying here to help your ragtag group of hybrids and rejects benefit me in any way if I had the ability to find the dragonballs without you?”
Basawe smiled to himself when he heard this... He knew that Retasu was out for nobody but herself, and she'd just confirmed it. She was after the Dragonballs, no doubt about it. He didn't know if she could find them by herself or not, but he knew that if the Dragonballs were all gathered - by Shitagi and his friends or otherwise - then Retasu would definitely be there when it happened.
'Rothax, Retasu...' he thought. 'They're my objectives. I could possibly destroy Retasu here and now, in this form, but Rothax is another matter... I may need her strength. Like it or not, she's the strongest person here once my transformation wears off...'
Basawe looked up at his Power Ball. It wouldn't last for too much longer... Maybe a half an hour before it vanished.
"I'm going to train myself further in the Chamber." he said, turning away from Shitagi. "I can't stay like this for long. What are you two going to do?"
------------MEANWHILE, AT THE PLOT------------
Name: Rothax
Race: Mizimian
Age: 39
Gender: Asexual; is referred to as a 'he.'
Appearance: This is his first form. His second (and as of the RPG's decline/revival, his current form) form is depicted here.
Personality: Rothax is a power-hungry despot, prone to throwing tantrums if he doesn't have his way. He can be cool and collected, but typically for short bursts only. When angered, he often becomes childishly hotheaded like Frieza, but rather than remain uncontrollable, he will eventually become silent and frigid cold if his anger continues. At this point, stay away. In fact, just stay away period. He only seems to be happy when he has exactly what he wants and when he wants it, at which point he becomes almost friendly.
History: The Mizimian race descends from a common ancestor that they share with the Namekians, which is why both races are so similar in appearnce. Though not enemies, the Namekians rarely speak of their brethren race simply because they tend to keep to themselves. They inhabit a planet called Mizim, which is only a few days from the original Namek (farther from New Namek), and while the Namekians are a more sage race, the Mizimians are a technological species. What they lack in Namekian strength and wisdom, they make up for in technological achievment and outright intelligence.
Rothax's history is not very remarkable. He was raised as a scholar, capable of fighting well but spending more time tinkering with his 'toys' than the typical Mizimian brawler. Like his fellow Mizimians, he knew of the Namekians and their Dragon Balls, the latter of which Rothax became interested in. He tried to find them, his impulsiveness getting in the way of him learning much more about the Dragon Balls than how they granted wishes.
A few years later, he returned to Mizim, infuriated that he didn't get what he wished for from the dragon he summoned, which was Porunga (Hilariously, when Porunga denied his wish since he didn't speak Namekian, Rothax wished/yelled for Porunga "Shut up and go away!". This wish, Porunga DID grant.). So, he began to search his planet's libraries and archives for any record on how to get what he wanted... And he eventually uncovered a manuscript written by the creator of the Dragon Balls himself. The manuscript stated that the Dragon Balls acted as inhibitors that kept their Dragon's limitless power from being misused. And so, he began work on a machine that would separate the Dragon from the Dragon Balls. As he constructed it, his people began to shun him for his selfish intentions and his attitude, though he did manage to coerce (scare and/or bribe) a small army to follow him. His machine is complete now, and his troops are ready to begin the old hunt once again...
NEW: Now on Earth, Rothax's squadrons of soldiers have been decimated, forcing him to transform once as well as to call in his most senior special forces group, who will be listed below. As of now, Rothax has ten men left at his behest. His machine is fully operational, and his top 3 soldiers are with him on his ship, ready to engage the enemy and assist the struggling Kwali brothers. He possesses 2 of the 7 Dragonballs and has laid waste to West City.
Techniques:
-Chitin Barrier: Rothax's armor shines a sickly blue and he holds his hand out, stopping any attack that hits it (If his armor is crippled, this move becomes much less effective; now that he's transformed, his armor is straining and this move may just push it past its limits.)
-Claw Crusher: Rothax uses the claws on his wrists and ankles to mercilessly crush or cut up whatever he can get them around.
-Needle Cannon: Similar to Vegeta's barrage attack, Rothax fires a veritable hailstorm of glowing blue needles from his hands, which typically lasts anywhere from one wave to ten seconds. before needing to recharge.
-Ozone Burst Ray: Rothax's most powerful basic attack. He holds his hands straight out sideways, the bases of the palms pressed together, all five fingers lined next to one another, before firing a thick blue beam of negative energy at the target.
-Supersonic Yell: Rothax utters a vocal shockwave that can inflict agonizing pain and even deafness on enemies.
-Rothax Third Form: Rothax assumes his second form. More information is unavailable at this time.
Relationships: Shimuto, his second-in-command, is probably the closest thing he has to a 'friend.' His special forces' leader, Chita, he treats with more respect than the rest of his soldiers, though it is currently unknown why.
Themes:
"Calm" theme.
Battle theme.
Second form theme.
Other: Despite his temper and intentions, Rothax doesn't consider himself evil. He just wants what he feels he's entitled to.
Rothax
Rothax looked over his remaining soldiers... Blaque, the armored mass of red-eyed muscle, and Whyte, the slim, mohawked, hook-nosed stick figure beside him.
"Where is Chita?" Rothax growled. "She said she was already on-deck. That was several minutes ago. My patience is-"
Rothax's grumbling was interrupted by a beeping on the monitor a few feet from him, where Tennan was hard at work trying to keep his superior from getting any angrier.
A futile effort, he just realized.
"Uh, sir?" Tennan said timidly. "According to these readings... THREE Dragonballs have just appeared, together. Their location is where... the Kwalis are right now...?"
"WHAT?!" Rothax shoved Tennan aside and looked at the monitor. Sure enough, there were 3 blips clustered together, almost overlapping, on the display. Three foreign power levels, two of which seemed to fighting each other(?), were present, as were the Kwalis. The orange one, representing Kamo, was still, but the blue one was still quite mobile... and barely five yards from the Dragonballs!
Rothax grabbed the communicator off the wall and began to yell into it: "What the hell are you idiots doing!? The radar's detecting three Dragon Balls not twenty feet from you!"
A short pause.
"How they got here doesn't matter! Retrieve those Dragon Balls and return immediately!"
"Your blood pressure, Captain..." a female voice said behind him.
Rothax slammed down the com-link and turned. Behind him, standing in front of Blaque and Whyte, was an armored female figure in red-and-beige boots, with white gloves and webbed skin. She seemed fit, but her face was that of a well-aged woman. One who had seen, and won, many a battle... Her faintly green eyes were colder than the void of space.
"Chita, it's about time." Rothax growled. "I've-"
"I already know the situation, sir." Chita interrupted him. "And I've briefed Blaque and Whyte while you were speaking with the Kwalis. One of them has been critically injured. What should I do about them?"
Rothax wasn't always happy with Chita's fast-talking, but at the moment, he wasn't in the mood to brief his remaining men, anyway. "If the Kwalis are no longer able to fight, then order them to return to the-"
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
"Sir!" Tennan cried out, sounding even more scared than usual. "Someone... Something is coming from the west! It's making a beeline for the ship, and it's strong!"
Rothax paused. "How strong?"
"It has a power level of... 9,000! Maybe more!"
Rothax narrowed his eyes. 'It's her.'
He turned to Chita, Blaque, and Whyte.
"You have your orders." he told them. "You know where to go and what to do. I won't be gone long. When I return, those 3 Dragonballs had better be on my ship."
"Yes, sir!" they replied.
-------------------------------------
If one were a few miles in the sky above Rothax's ship, they'd have seen a stunning sight: three streaks of energy - one pale grey, one dark grey, and at the forefront, one pitch-black - were flying to the northwest at great speed. South of them, a much thicker and faster blue one was speeding to the west, en route towards an approaching golden-white streak of energy, the two seemingly on a collision course.
