Ya know, I just realized something as I got outta the shower (making tacos for ungrateful folks is sweaty work), thinking about the Issu Starters in Gen V.

I was thinking of my MSN Status "... Fuckin Pig" and I thought about why, of all things, they would pick a pig for a Fire Type Starter. The previous Gens had at least a bit of sense to them (Charmander = Salamander -> Dragon, Cyndaquil = echidna-ish -> flaming badger, Torchic = warm chick -> any of several Flaming rooster influences, and Chimchar = a chimp that flings... well you know... -> Fighting Monkey God). So some of them have some vague reasoning behind them.

So why a Pig? Why a Saddleback Pig of all animals to make into a Fire-Type? When I thought about it a bit, it clicked. The final Stage of the Gen V Fire starter has to be the Hell Pig.

I kinda caught the idea when thinking about Blade's Fire Pig PKMN evo line he has on his DevArt profile (which looks pretty cool, though the Final one should have the rock armor look more like samurai armor around his shoulders and head, I think that'd be awesome), and thought of the Final evo and then it came back to me, The HELL PIG! That's the Issu starter's Final Evo!
