The anchor was using simple logic, Roy. The time that the House used on the 33 attempts to repeal the Affordable Health Care Act, when added together in one lump sum, total two complete work weeks for the House.

And on average, two complete work weeks for the House, when you factor in all their expenses, salaries, and requirements, cost the American taxpayer just shy of $50 million.

Granted, it cost the taxpayers that much for them to do anything that takes two weeks, but the thing here is, that two weeks was pratically spent doing nothing.

    Nothing productive, anyway.

So now what are you going to tell me? That any of them actually believed the bill would pass the Senate? Or that even one of them believed the President would sign it?
