Get ready for a new online competition that will let you use any Pokemon you want besides Diancie (and Hoopa and Volcanion of course). However you can only use up to two of the legendary Pokémon. Registration opens July 17th and is open to the first 50,000 entrants.

Eevee Friendly Tournament Coming in July

Get ready for the next Pokemon competition that’s open to all Pokemon X and Pokemon Y players, the Eevee Friendly. This competition will be interesting because the only Pokemon you can have on your team is Eevee and its Eeveelutions (Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon).
Registration opens July 3rd, 2014 and goes through July 10th, 2014. The tournament starts July 11th, 2014. Check out more details on the PGL site.

Fancy Vivillon Pattern Event Coming Soon

The next Vivillon pattern has been announced! Do you remember seeing all of the “Pokémon Traded via the GTS” images featuring Vivillon’s many forms on the Pokemon Global Link website? If not, maybe the image to the right will jog your memory.
Well, it has been announced that once the number of Pokemon traded hits 100 million you’ll be able to receive Fancy Pattern Vivillon via a special distribution event. Once the goal is reached we’ll have to check back with Pokemon.com to see how to get our Fancy Vivillon. We’ll make sure to bring you the info when we get it!
Now if only we could find out how to get the Poké Ball pattern Vivillon to everyone outside of France.
