I like complex arena's, but the problem with ASB is that matches take quite a while to finish. Plus, you've got more then one match going on at the same time, so I tend to forget some banned-moves/special-added-arena-effect/etc. Which makes general arena's more attractive for swift battling.

Or maybe that's just me being lazy =/

No, they really don't. There's not a shift in the arena metagame like there is with Elf or Grey's, they're additions to the main arena that may or may not actually come alive and affect the match.

Now you're starting to get annoying. The Normal arena going on right now is NOT as complicated as your arena. Plain and fucking simple. And the Brawl match was not at my discretion, it was at Darkly's. And it merely changed locations, not what moves are and aren't effective or which of my fucking fetish dragons is randomly flying around shitting on the match.

MY point was (1.) that none of my arenas are as complex as your Roost with the exception of one that I made over a year ago and wasn't really a fan of anyway. You've hawked this fucked-up idea at least twice and the first time, nobody ever accepted it (as far as I remember). I'd say it's more complicated if nobody can be bothered trying to figure it out.

My point was also (2.) that I can't stand arenas that rely on 'hurr durr shifting elements' as their gimmick when it's a dated and uncreative concept. Tack all the mythological bullshit and specific conditions on it as you want. The cut and dry of it is that it is way more of a clusterfuck than most of my arenas and most of the ones in ASB as a whole. Call the Major-General battle needlessly complicated; at least it was original.

As for you, Darkly, I was looking more at the armors themselves having different elements... But they don't seem to come into play anywhere when used by a Pokemon. Maybe I was wrong. I just don't quite get why the armors have types when they all hit for Normal/Fighting/Steel damage and absorb nothing but Normal attacks.

The times before my current Match with Mike I offered to Ref it (and did for one stage) twice, and battled Asi and DL on it once (for one set) each. This is the first time I've actually played past the first Arena.

Does ASB need constant things like this? That's your own opinion. I think they're fun cuz they're a different brand than the usual Indigo Plateau, or Calm meadow, or Forest or other bland arenas. Hell even arenas in suburbia are more fun than those. Least then there's a chance for something to happen besides spamming Super-Effective Attacks at each other until someone drops.

I made the Dragon Roost so that it could be something inherently mine, original (your mileage may vary) that drew from one of my interests which happens to be, yes, dragon mythology. Yes I like dragons, I may be annoying for that, your point? You like being a little loudmouth bitch craving attention with your incoherent streams of obscenity flowing from your gaping hole at every opportunity against anything you don't like which makes you annoying as well. Beginner Trainer - Obvious, you just started with your team. After completing your first four matches you gain (extra points/Free catch/Evo/Egg/ect)
Advanced - Completed four matches (any combination W-L)
Ace - Completed 10 Matches (20-40% Win Record)
Master - Completed 30 Matches (50-80% Win Record)
Elite - Completed 60+ Matches (90-100%% Win Record)

Anyone else got anything?
