From July 11th to August 10th, Pokémon fans can head to participating GAME stores to get a fiery Charizard for their Pokémon X or Pokémon Y game via Nintendo Zone.

Pokémon Mega Evolution Special I
Pokemon: Mega Evolution Special I will air on Cartoon Network this Saturday, May 31st at 8am EST according to Cartoon Network’s TV schedule page. If you miss this episode, it will be shown again on Sunday, June 8, at 8 a.m.
This special will not feature Ash and co. Instead we are introduced to a new character named Alain.

New Charizard and Mega Charizard X Pictures From Super Smash Bros
Super Smash Bros. director, Masahiro Sakurai, released two more screenshots and game details today about Charizard.
Here’s Charizard’s new special attack, Flare Blitz. It’s a very powerful attack–however, you’ll take recoil damage if you make contact. Pretty true to the original game, huh? Flare Blitz is Charizard’s side special move, and Rock Smash is the down special move.
And here’s Mega Charizard X. This will appear as Charizard’s Final Smash.
Pokemon XY: Strongest Mega Evolution Act 1 Anime Special
The Pokemon Company has released a brief trailer of the upcoming anime special, Strongest Mega Evolution Act 1.
It features a new trainer named Alan and his Charizard. The special will follow their adventures through the Kalos region where his goal is to defeat every Mega Evolved Pokemon, including the Elite Four Siebold’s Mega Blastoise.
The special will air in Japan on April 3, 2014.

More Diancie and Mega Charizard News From Coro Coro Magazine
More scans have leaked for the next issue of Coro Coro Magazine. This time it reveals that #719 Diancie has the ability Clear Body, learns Hyper Beam and Explosion, and the tag line for the new Pokemon X and Y movie, “Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie” translates to “A grand adventure with the princess of the Diamond Mine Country.”
There also is a special Mega Charizard promotion happening in next month’s issue. Similarly like the Mega Garchomp promotion they ran a few months back, each issue will have a unique serial code that will allow you to receive a Charizard with a Charizardite stone opposite of your game’s version. So those with Pokemon X can get Mega Charizard Y and Pokemon Y players will get Mega Charizard X. Continue reading
