The ref looked at the two challengers and noted their orders. He looked at the two Pokemon. Bibarel was rubbing his eyes sleepily, still holding the precious movie. Aipom was flexing her hand tail, preparing for the next round.

Aipom starts the round off with great speed. She moves her claw and collects energy in the form of ghost energy. After a second or two, Aipom’s left hand glows a brilliant granite grey. She pounces at Bibarel and swipes. The claw went right through Bibarel and Aipom slammed into Bibarel’s front and fell to the floor, slightly dazed. Bibarel rolls his eyes. He opens his mouth and forces power into his fangs. He bites down onto Aipom’s head. Hard. He clamps down as hard as possible and makes Aipom screech in pain. She withdraws her head and feels two deep bite marks above her ears. There is no blood thankfully.

Bibarel sits down creating a small shudder and breathes deeply. He had lost a huge amount of energy there. But the round wasn’t over yet. Aipom shook her head and ignored the searing pain. She breathed out and slowly started to glow in a faint black aura. She waited for Bibarel to attack. Bibarel gets up and prepares to use his next move: Pluck. Before he can move, Aipom lashes out and takes the film reel! Her dark aura fades as she retreats to a safe distance. She puts the film reel in her hand and sticks her tongue out at Bibarel. Bibarel snarls and launches himself at Aipom. He grabs the film reel and pulls. Whilst at the same time, stamps on Aipom’s tail. She screeches and releases the film reel. Bibarel jumps back and smiles victoriously.

Bibarel continues to pant and breathe fast. He wasn’t going to last much longer if this kept on going. Aipom was rubbing her tail.

Aipom stood up and smiled gleefully at Bibarel. Bibarel raised an eyebrow, wondering what Aipom would do next. Suddenly, without any warning whatsoever; Aipom rushed at Bibarel with blinding speed. She reached Bibarel, who was too surprised to move, and turned quickly. When she had turned a full half circle, she lashed out at Bibarel with her hand tail and punched him right in the kisser! Or left jaw to be more precise. Bibarel was knocked to the ground and Aipom returned to her spot. She didn’t switch out, as she was the only Pokemon left in her team. Bibarel got up and tried to woo Aipom by complimenting her and trying to look handsome…so to speak. He stopped, however, when he saw Aipom cross her hands and shook her head softly. There was no fooling this girl.

Side Notes

1) Ghost moves don’t affect Normal types even if they are part water!

2) Even though Snatch steals a move, for this occasion, it only stole the film reel.

3) Although Aipom stole the film reel, Snatch does not harm the Pokemon. Pluck, however, does damage the foe in any way possible (i.e. standing on Aipom’s tail)

4) I’m guessing that Aipom’s the only Pokemon left; meaning U-Turn couldn’t switch Aipom out.

5) Bibarel currently possesses the holy film reel
