ROUND 22!
The rain continues to trickle down on the two pokemon as Wobls readies her next attack. Whilst doing so, Emo ponders if Wobls' aggression really just means that she's secretly in love with him but doesn't know how to show it. He continues this thought for a few moments until SURPRISE!, she bashes him in the head with her wet tail (-8% +1% Emo; -5% Wobls). His head aches, but his confusion fades away immediately as he readies himself for what's next.

Wobls smiles sweetly at her foe, trying to get him to lower his guard (-2% Wobls; --ATK Emo). But his mind is focused on other things as his psychic powers shift his poor defense over to her (-8% Emo; -SpD Wobls; +SpD Emo). Sighing weakly, Wobls prepares a deathly song that is heard throughout the ruins (-10% Wobls). Emo begins to feel ill, even moreso than ever as his ears ring and his fears come to life; but he remains vigilant, grabbing a loose vine with his mind, and tripping up the plump water pokemon easily (-11% Wobls; -6% Emo).

We begin this test with Wobls jumping up to Emo, brandishing a tail of water. Emo braces herself and takes the hit. She then flicks her fingers and punches Wobls back. Wobls rolls on the ground and lands in a heap...ouch.

Wobls gets up and smiles sweetly at Emo. He compliments how good she looks and how powerful her attacks were. Emo couldn't resist toning down her attacks. The spots in her eyes continued to taunt her. She thrashed so wildly to hit them, she fell out of levitating space.

Emo began to float again then heard a horrible screech. It was Wobls and he was singing in a horrible tone. Emo fell to the ground again and clasped her ears. She could feel the life coming from her. She put a hand on the ground and sent a vine to underneath Wobls. The song stopped when Wobls fell over. Emo sighed and was relieved the spots in her eyes were finally gone. She looked up...and realised Wobls was unconscious...oh.

Round 22

Arena: The Ruins of Alph
The rain has been steadily falling for the entire battle and shows no sign of stopping. It's not particularly heavy, just constant. Battle scars litter the mountainsides from missed (and hit) attacks.

Pre-Battle:
Both trainers are showing signs of wear much like their Pokemon. Still, this close to the end they're not going to give up easily.

Mossylore calls out his commands first. "You, Wobls, will Aqua Tail that fool there, and then follow through with a Charm. End with Perish Song." The Azumarill nods his understanding.

MeH8Life comes back with his own shout to his Meditite. "Come on! We gota win this! Counter the Aqua Jet, Guard Swap and then Grass Knot."

With both attack lists out, the ref swings his flag to signal the start of round 22!

Wobis wastes no time in springing into action. As he rushes towards the stationary Meditite, he has a haughty air around him as if this is just too easy for him. Just as he gets close, his tail glows a bright blue and swipes at the psy-fighter.

Without warning, Emo snaps out of his stationary position and grabs a hold of the tail swinging at him. He winces in pain, but then takes that pain and pushes his mind to hurl the aqua rabbit into the ground for a heavy hit. Emo quickly hops back from his former spot and readies himself for the next move.

But he's caught off guard by Wobis looking at him very cutely. Emo can't quite understand why, but he feels strangely resistant towards hitting the creature sitting in front of him. Fortunately he wasn't told to do anything to hurt, so he focuses his special psionics on switching his defense abilities with his opponent's. Because he's normally not as well off defensively, this proves to be a huge boost to his abilities, while debilitating Wobis.

He's suddenly distracted by some of the worst singing he's ever heard. Most Azumarill aren't well known for their voice to begin with, but this is worse than usual! It's so bad that he starts feeling sort of sick, like he won't be able to go on for very much longer. Unfortunately for Wobis, he too starts feeling the same way and sits down on the ground for now.

Emo is now quite annoyed at Wobis and doesn't think he's quite so cute anymore. Unfortunately the spots in front of his eyes start looking like other Azumarill, and in an attempt to use his next move on one of them ends up hurting himself instead. Finally figuring it out, Emo rubs his eyes furiously and clears out the flying spots.

As the round comes to an end, Wobis is starting to look really beaten up, whereas Emo is looking more and more worn out from all his exertion. The ref waves his other flag to singal the end of the round.

The match starts out with Wobls and Emo starring each other down, both waiting for the other to make their move. Wobls couldnt take it anymore after a couple minutes and ran up, tail glowing a light blue color, and smacked Emo in the face with a devastating Aqua tail attack. (-5 Hp Emo_-6 En Wobls) Fortunatly, te blow to the face helped Emo snap out of confusion, and countered the Aquatail with a couple cmall jabs at Wobls. (-7 Hp Wobls_-6 En Emo)

Wobls gets back up only to see a red emanation coming out of Emo. He then learns that a similar blue emanation was coming out of himself. he two emanations passed each other and fused with the opposite pokemon. (Emo +1 SpD -4 En_Wobls-1 SpD) Wobls felt a slight less sturdy, and figured it had to do with the emanations. But instead of fighting, Wobls decided to charm Emo. Emo fell for it unfortuantly and became less aggrassive. (-2Atk Emo -5 En Wobls)

Emo had to get back on his game. He ran towards the Azumarill and tripped him with his foot that glowed an eerie green color. (-12 Hp Wobls_ -6 En Emo). Wobls got right back up and ended the round by singing a dreadful song, a song you wold hear at a funeral or somthing like that.(-6 En Wobls)

The battle outside the ruins of Alph is now in its 22 round as both combatants are still kicking. Wobls begins by rushing over to Emo and hits him over the head with her blue tail. Emo grabs Wobls tail and proceeds to throw her across the field and watches as she hits the ground on the other side of the arena.

Wobls charges at Emo, with its tail glowing a bright blue. Just as it hits Emo, a large splashing noise is made. Emo goes to duck, but ends up hitting himself in his confusion.

~Second turn~
Emo focuses, overcoming his confusion, as a shield appears in front of him. At the same time, a shield appears in front of Wobls. The two shields switch places, and Wobls takes advantage of the distraction to turn on the good old charms. Emo suddenly is a bit more reluctant to go full power at Wobls.
Wobls: -3 EN, Lose SpD bonus
Emo: -9 EN, Gain SpD bonus, -2 Atk

~Third turn~
Emo looks at the ground as a small bit of grass grows up, tying themselves around Wobls's foot. Wobls trips over, but manages to sing a song. The song starts to seep into the ears of the trainers, and they quickly cover their ears to prevent the haunting melody. Unfortunately, both Wobls and Emo have no means of preventing this melody from affecting them, and both feel their life force draining away.

Round 22 BEGIN!!!!!!

It starts off with Wobls watching Emo fumble over himself with a smile. She was glad what she had done to him, making her closer to victory. Emo on the other hand kept tripping over himself, getting back up and doing it all over again. He started to get aggravated over the fact that he was so clumsy. Eventually he would hurt himself if he didn’t snap out of it. Wobls waited a little longer trying to find a hole in the time from when Emo sttod up and fell again. When she found it she charged through the wet ruins, her tail lit up extra blue due to the power she was extracting from the rain and smacked Emo with her tail, right as he was getting up.

-8 Hp Emo
-5 EN Wobls

Fortunately, Emo got back up and didn’t trip. He walked a couple steps, but he didn’t fall. The confusion effect was gone! He then looked up to see Wobls watching him intently waiting for him to do something. Emo charged at her with his fists clecnhed, and went in for the hit. Wobls tried to maneuver around the counter attack, but ended up getting pounded into the mud.

Wobls got back up and decided not to unleash her Rebbit fury on poor poor Emo, so instead she decided to charm him instead, sharply lowering Emo’s attack.

Emo felt the charm lowering his power. If his power was going away there had to be a way to make his defenses stronger. Then he realized that Wobls boosted her Sp. DEF earlier on! Perfect! He focused all his power on Wobls and soon enough a small blue spherical aura was floating in the air toward Emo, and finally Emo, absorbed it, gaining a boost in Sp. DEF.

- 1 Sp DEF Wobls

Wobls didn’t like that her Sp. DEF was lowered because of Emo, so she decided to start singing. Lets just say she was a good singer, when it comes to songs of death. Emo heard the song and felt drained. Soon he would be out of Energy and feint, and Wobls would win. But what Emo didn’t know, was that Wobls was draining her energy as she sang as well.

PERISH SONG INFLICTED Wobls and Emo

Emo finished the round by running up to Wobls and tripping her her with a grass powered foot. Yeah how do YOU like tripping. Wobls knew that the trip wasn’t just a trip. It was grass knot, she knew it. She could feel the extra hurt in the fall.

I'm sure nobody ones to be out here on a rainy day in the Ruins of Alph. It's Round 22 with me, Kurosakura, as your lovely referee for this round! Already, both the combatants and their Pokemon sure don't feel like duking it out anymore! Okay, maybe Wobls, but this Azumarill is barely hanging in there!

Wobls starts off the battle with her tail aglow, charging at the derp-faced Emo, jumping at the Meditite. But wait! What's this? Emo is glowing! He somehow managed to pull off a Counter, sending the Aqua Tail right back at Wobls, hitting her in the face and sending her back at least five feet. That must've left a mark!

Wobls: -16 HP, -6 EN
Emo: -4 HP, -5 EN

Okay, so that didn't work out too well for Wobls, but Emo is still staring right at her with a silly look on his face. Wobls makes her way back to Emo and looks all cute and innocent at him, and his face looks dopier than ever. Emo uses his psychic powers to magically swap his defenses with Wobls'! This looks like a tough situation to get out of, folks.

Wobls: -1 EN
Emo: -10 EN, +1 Sp. Def.

Wobls begins again with a out-of-worldly dirge, sapping the life out of herself and Emo! Emo attempts to retaliate by attempting to trip Wobls, but he's so confused he trips over himself and faceplants. Ouch.
